TMJ/ TMD is treatable with physical therapy

TMJ/ TMD Craniofacial Physical therapy assesses the dysfunctional jaw and implements techniques for regaining normal jaw movement. Physical therapy evaluation and treatment of dysfunctions of the facial muscles, jaw and upper cervical region. Dysfunctions include, but not limited to TMJ, jaw disc displacement, popping/ clicking of jaw, neck pain, headaches, tinnitus, migraines, unable to open mouth due to pain and limitations, unable to eat due to jaw pain, postural imbalances, neck rotations, jaw mal-alignment etc.

Jaw pain

The Temporomandibular Joint is extremely complex and requires extensive knowledge in order to evaluate and treat. Robert Murdocco is a Craniofacial Specialist through the University of St. Augustine. He has studied the jaw and its dysfunctions, and is able to assess the causes of the pain and find solutions to resolving the pain.
